Tron Legacy (trailer up)

I think it's been out a while, but I thought I'd post it here:

I'm on board!

Re: Tron Legacy (trailer up)

As I said on Facebook, it looks pretty lush... but I think the plot they are hinting at is not gonna be to my liking... it seems to clash with the philosophy of the original film's novelisation.

Re: Tron Legacy (trailer up)

I got to see a full scale mockup of the lightcycle at Fan Expo ... it was pretty darn cool.

I remember reading Boxleitner might be in it. Captain Sheridan vs The Big Lebowski.

2nd trailer up, with loads of Bruce!

He is really cool in this.

Here is the first trailer in HD:

This looks like being the big geeky blockbuster this year. And it is in 3D ...

Heh. Total geekgasm. I'll probably see this at some point just for the sheer nostalgiac giggle factor.

Re: Tron Legacy (trailer up)

I'll watch it... but I loved the plot to the original and while I don't doubt the plot will be solid, I fear this is going to skew some of the themes explored in the original.

Visuals look good though.

Re: Tron Legacy (trailer up)

I like that they kept the basic look of it, even though it's considered 80s-cheesy today.

Also... Jeff Bridges + Scarecrow Sheridan. Yeah, I'm there.
