    Game of Thrones, HBO series

Gay stuff is all there in the second book. I'm also loving how they are adding extra sex and using it as additional expo / filler. Good idea! Jory was referred to lovingly by other characters, even if he did not do much himself. Sansa had a crush on him. It was a different way of getting the...

    Transformers: Dark of the Moon

Peter Cullens' voice, robots, explosions, crap jokes, more robots, shakey cam, all in 3D. I'll be there on the front row on opening day, glasses ready DL = Hollywoods' bitch.

    New B5 coming?

In the nicest possible way, no creator really owes us anything. See this lovely post by Neil Gaiman on why that is: http://journal.neilgaiman.com/2009/05/entitlement-issues.html And JMS did deliver! All in favour of more B5, if done with the right budget, people, time and care, in TV, film...

    Thor

Great popcorn movie in all respects, but the 3D did not work so well for the Ice planet stuff. I think it would be better in 2D. Portman and the whole cast was ace. JMS and Stan Lee though. Love the set design and Asgard bits, Brannagh had fun I think.

    Doctor Who Series 6

Pretty weak stuff indeed, but RTD would have probably used a sonic screwdriver to fix it so at least they tried. I liked the shot of the pirates flying a spaceship though. Gaiman next, his first TV since Babylon 5 S5 unless I am wrong? Andrew is right VL, its produced as a family show heavily...

    Doctor Who Series 6

I'm seeing all the backlash to this in the UK press and actually have some sympathy. Its good fun but fairly complex for a young audience (like the 9 year old next door who used to love the show but now cannot keep up). I also think they are doing a lot of clever time travel stuff just because...

    Game of Thrones, HBO series

Catching this illegally. The books remain my favorite series but I'm happy with the series so far and love the titles. Changes are necessary and fun to watch. A lot of subtlety from the books is lost, including some good foreshadowing, but that can be nicely compensated for with lots of gracious...

    Warners acting like a-holes...

http://www.comicsbeat.com/2011/03/28/do-you-really-think-the-families-of-superman%E2%80%99s-creators-should-be-treated-this-way/ There is a wider issue about IPR after your death, but I think to counter-sue a small family is a bit shitty. I personally oppose any legal decision that restricts...

    Superman: Earth One

rising stars and midnight nation are some of the best comics I have read. Joe does not seem to do so well with the big properties IMHO but still worth a read. glad to hear superman is selling well. my sic fi hating wife loved the changeling, so did I.

    New Sherlock Holmes on PBS

    Scott Pilgrim

Kermode is an over-opinonated and over exposed wa*nker of a critic who has no sense of what is entertaining or of interest to anyone other than himself. I've nver disagreed with a critic so much. His hatred of something is usually a green light for me to go see it.

Anyone else enjoy? I found it to be a load of fun and worth it for the following dialogue alone: "I was just bi-curious" "Well I'm bi-FURIOUS"
