It's not whether the movie tried to legitimize terrorism, rather that it tried to portray terrorism as a viable option. (Yes, there's a difference.) Actually, it's not. You have to remember, his is an extremist's point of view. People indeed shouldn't fear their governments, but neither should...

I LOVED Shatner's mirror-universe books. I own all of 'em. If you ask me, he writes Trek just as well as some of the best Trek authors out there.

I agree... lots of familiar faces, but literally no explanation as to a basic plot... not that I'm disinterested by that, mind you, but it would have helped. :) I'm assuming this is another mirror-universe crossover. I was always a big fan of those.

I'm not sure if Steve's dad is still alive or not, but I do remember seeing him on the show once. Steve's mom died in 2000, and his father was still around then. He handled crocs and snakes for a lot longer than Steve ever did, and he was well into his 70s when I saw him on the show... so that's...

I should probably make sure I buy TOS in its original form on DVD before this comes out, in case they're pulling a Lucas and have thoughts about making this "replace" the original episodes with the original SFX. That being said, I can't help but smile at the chance to see those old stories told...

Re: The \"Sci-Fi\" Channel, Really??? True, and I did watch Raw Monday night on Sci-Fi... I just hope the resulting 4.0 rating (average rating for that show) doesn't give someone at Sci-Fi a boner for more WWE programming on their channel.

Sci-Fi is like a psycho girlfriend. You want with all your heart to love her and cherish her, and you feel that spending time with her will change her, but just when you think things are finally going well, she reminds you that she's really just a crazy bitch. SG-1 has reinvented itself more...
