OK, so I know that the reedited 1998 version of The Gathering was shown on an Estonian channel in 1998 and all the five seasons followed in 2000/2001.
I think it was original The Gathering, not reedited version...
I found some info about lengths of B5 Region2 DVD extras on British Board of Film Classification website ( http://www.bbfc.co.uk/ - search 'babylon 5'):
BACK TO BABYLON 5 12m 49s
BABYLON 5 DATA FILES - BATTLE OF THE LINE 0m 31s
BABYLON 5 - DATA FILES SYSTEM VERSION 1.0 - PSI CORPS 0m 36s...

Amazon.de Sales Rank - 2
I think B5 was very popular in Germany.
IMO there are 3 countries in this side of the Atlantic ocean where B5 was hit - UK,Finland and Germany. (Finland average...
(correct if i'm wrong, but) anamorphic widesceen is as wide as non-anamorphic widesceen
I have only seen some episodes of Farscape and B5:Rangers in this "format" and it looks ok..certainly not too awful for CGI-cuts
Speaking of widesceen and "black bar" - i'm mostly annoyed when i dont...
what really interest me - how does WHV shares a cost of B5 DVD-s? Does UK-s part of WHV have to pay a licence fee or is it just "one big company"? Who is paying for making extras etc. and who makes profit?
And when DVD-s in UK are big hit but sales are low in USA?

Any chance of getting a link to those menu pictures? I'd like to them with a few others in a larger and more readable form.
I wound them on http://www.dvdlair.com/babylon%205.htm . There was no working link to bigger pictures
I though it would be nice to have b5dvd "artwork" thread.
and "disc-art" i posted in other thread:
http://www.noblepr.co.uk/Press_Releases/warner/images/babylon5_dvd/pack2.jpg
another link to this WHV announcement is
http://www.noblepr.co.uk/Press_Releases/warner/babylon5_dvd.htm
i'm a little surprised it is rated 12 in uk.
Link to "dics-art" (+ cover art) is http://www.noblepr.co.uk/Press_Releases/warner/images/babylon5_dvd/pack2.jpg (it's high quality picture )

So anyway, is it something I'd absolutely have to watch in the right order, or would it be OK to just "sample" a couple of eps first? And if yes, which ones?

nice cards morden..although you put too much intrigue to main characters (Tirk,Martels,Dulanns,Malcolms intrigue is not 5...maybe even 3 is too much..they are rather un-intrigueing (sp?) characters imo)
overall nice and very playable card
