Thank god it's fallen through then eh? Personally don;t see what all the fuss is about. If JMS thought he could do it then fair enough. Gotta trust him as it's his baby. We do need more B5 tho, and what joe has proposed as a second option is still not dead in the water yet. Hope is all...

listening to JMS on the babble on podcast the reboot sounded like a reboot of B5 as it exists now. Changing some things to make it relevant to a new audience while keeping the same end goal. Some characters played by different actors while some of the original actors playing different roles.

Question. Dunno if anyone can answer this but do WB have any time limit on their rights to B5?

dunno that B5 was overly popular in Britain. To me B5's success has been and will always be the fact that as a saga you buy it on DVD. It was only shown on Channel 4 in the uK and had ok - if not spectacular viewing figures. I always felt it needed to be shown on one of the main 2 channels...

Season 3 is best for me. I like the first part of the Season 5 theme (taken from 'Voices of Authority' on B5 Soundtrack Volume 2 isnt it?) but when it breaks into a higher tempo it loses its appeal for me. Shame because VOA suite is ace.

If its a feature film, then there are many events in the B5 universe you could go to. I'm not going to post story ideas (respect to Joe) but there is lots of unexplored territory. Could also work in Mini series format. On the other hand Wb could always re-boot the series.
