That drum beat is very similar to the underlying rhythm of the theme tune anyway (The dang-a-dang dang-a-dang bit) I was wondering that too. Yes. They did explain, sort of, how the Master got out of the Tardis and get more regenerations. I was giggling so much at this episode. Strange...

It was very cleverly done. I wonder if they filmed the conversation with the Easter Egg first, just so they could get the timing right. I can't see how else they could have done it unless DT was off screen being filmed at the same time, then they used this for the earlier scenes. Don't blink.;)

I've got both on DVD. I bought the DVD first hoping it was the special edition and was disapointed that it wasn't. Later, I bought another one and it was the SE. The boxes and disks are identical, so I can't tell which one is which until I play it.

The three Wallace and Grommit shorts feel like they are a whole movie, they are full of so much action. Each of those is only half an hour.
