I am looking for a good LONG sci-fi read. Any ideas? must be at least a trilogy or a REALLY thick book Hard SF, Space Opera, Cyberpunk or some Heinlein type future fiction would be great. Some decent Alt. History would be cool. It has been ages since I have read a well written Alt. history...

where did the smileys go? there used to be a box full of them...I am unused to this new board. Is there a option I have to select? I have looked over the User CP and read the FAQ (which left me more confused)

anything short of human flesh...deep fried squirrel and snake kabashs (sp?) are not bad. I ain't tried the rat though (gotta know where to draw the line).

our county fair does...you can get deep fried anything at this one booth.
