The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.

Oh man I loved that. :D I don't remember much of it except the gorgeous crisp snow and that it felt innocently magical. I hated him! He wasn't worthy of having my favourite treat of Turkish Delight. :p

The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe.

Heh. The order of reading for these books has always been controversial. Think TNT and Crusade ;) The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was written first, and was the first book I read, but it's not the first book of the series when considered in chronological order. When I finished LWW I went...

Star Wars Episode III trailer on "The O.C."

Re: Star Wars Episode III trailer on \"The O.C.\" That's a bit different in that the HP series is deliberately made to be for older people each time. Not only are the storylines darker and more complex with each book but the literary style is aimed at older age groups. Lucas has always said...

    Site browser stats

Ah yes. But SBC Yahoo!'s browser is just plain old IE with Yahoo!'s additional pop up blocking. :) Yeah I'd forgotten. My #1-with-a-bullet reason that vanilla IE needs to be junked is that you have to upgrade your operating system to get a pop-up blocker!

    Site browser stats

Ah that's a shame about the stats. The unscientific poll results above fly in the face of average website stats though. :) I use Firefox exclusively since tabbed browsing and livebookmarks are essential for me. Mouse gestures sound funky but I dunno if they'd help much. The flash plugins use...

    Site browser stats

So I'm feeling nosey and I was wondering what the site stats are like for this place. We read about how FireFox has pushed Internet Explorer's market share down below 90% but I was wondering what the percentage was for regular net users like ourselves. I've added the usual What do you use? poll...

An announcement about the new forums

Sounds like any school in Bradford or Tower Hamlets, really. ;) It is pleasing that we've been here so long without the place falling apart. I guess B5 fen have endurance... or are gluttons for punishment. I'm going to try keeping my original avatar but take advantage of the new size by...

An announcement about the new forums

Well congrats on a smooth transfer, Ant. It seems to have gone really well. I've always liked my avatar so it might stay as it is. Opening the place up for uploaded ones was a fine choice though. :)

And he actually used it, through Green Arrow, in The Dark Knight Returns :)

JMS asks for help on a new Star Trek Show

Perhaps all the hassle over TMoS has given him a new perspective on what is straightforward and what isn't. :)

Best season to start watching B5

I wouldn't go that far. TKO is not considered to be a good episode by most fans. It is considered necessary to watch it though. :) We'll be here with a cup of warm cocoa / beer / tequila shot to help you recover afterwards, I promise. :D

Best season to start watching B5

Hey Cappy, it's great that new people are still coming to see B5. :) The greatest/worst aspect of B5 is that every episode builds upon the previous ones. If you skip the first season then you are denying yourself the full enjoyment when you get near the end. There were events in later seasons...

    Fantastic Four trailer

FF, Sin City & Casshern trailers Thanks for the pictures, LH. I agree with what you are saying, Joe, that it's a tricky character to bring into reality. All I'm saying is that to me it looks both fake and out of tune with the character. Either I see the muscles and think someone's taken a...

    Fantastic Four trailer

Sorry but I think The Thing looks terrible. He's far to well-defined, even having supposed serratus anterior. The overall shape give a rounded impression instead of craggy... to me he looks like a heavy set boxer in a rubber suit rather than a mobile slab of rock. It just doesn't work for me at...
