Sounds like a good plan. :thumbsup: I'm concurrently working on Salem's Lot, several nonfiction books and the entire Longmire series of books.

The TV show got me started on the books. Currently reading Skin Game, but am in no hurry to finish it because I want to go right into Peace Talks..

I've never experienced a pre-ordering problem, but then again, I haven't played a videogame since 1994. Now, what little leisure time I have is spent watching the TV shows I've recorded and erasing them on the DVD-RW, watching DVDs/Blu-rays, Twitter (politics), watching YouTube videos, walking...

Pandemonium would ensue, mass hysteria, cats and dogs living together! :lol:

I could've used a time machine this morning. They called me out for work at 00:36 ET to be at a place an hour away at 00:30 ET, AND it had snowed, the roads were bad, and at least two out of the four sensors at the red lights out of town (to allow me to make a left onto the highway), WEREN'T...

Thanks for the info.. Glad to see you back. I was gone for a long time due to being busier than a one-armed paper hanger. My one day off always seems to go by in a flash. Can't even remember when I last watched my B5 & Crusade DVDs, :rolleyes: :embarassed: , but I've been keeping the b5tv...

I tend to fall asleep to one of my Abbott and Costello or Three Stooges DVDs. The comedy is sort of like comfort food. I'll have to try your method.

If I ever retired, I'd be able to catch up on my reading.

YW. The Laserdisc episodes were gorgeous.

The complete series was not released on Laserdisc. All of Seasons 1 & 5, part of 2 & 4, and none of 3 were released. They were 4:3, and were the highest quality of the CGI. I sold my set.

I just wish they would have come out with the complete series, ALL of it, including the movies and Crusade on Laserdisc and on DVD in 4:3 without the cropped CGI.

Most probably already have it all on DVD.

That's ~pretty much~ what I did, watching a friend's smattering of Season 1 VHS recordings, and then I watched the reruns on TNT at ~5PM Mon.-Fri. and the new episodes on TNT once a week at night.

Are you going to remember where you left off? Don't spoil anything for me, 'cause I'm still in the middle of Book 14 "Cold Days." My reading schedule suffered because I spend too much time on Twitter. ???

I picked "The Gathering" (1993) but "Shadow Dancing" worked for me. As a Trek fan (TOS and TNG, but NOT DS9 or VOY) in Oct. 1996, "Shadow Dancing" hooked me. It was a close enough look that it didn't really spoil anything but it was visually appealing and made current Trek look really bad to me.

Once Season 5 got past Byron (⚰️), I thought it got back to good~great episodes.
