    Terminator: The S. Connor Chronicles

Actually, quite a few people are watching it, and if not for the producers it would possibly not be in danger of being canceled. It doesn't get great ratings, but for a Fox show it gets good enough ratings to stay on the air, the problem is that the producers asked for a much larger budget and...

Crusade: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

No, it was completely different. I can tell you a story about a Jewish family in a WWII concentration camp, and then I can tell you a story about German guards in a WWII concentration camp. Those two stories take place in the same exact setting, but because of the difference in point of view...

Crusade: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

How was the music completely out of place? Crusade was a completely different show from B5. Sure, it was in the same universe, but it had different characters, a different feel, tone and atmosphere and dealt with completely different subject matter. As good as Franke's scores were, they would...

    Terminator: The S. Connor Chronicles

This season has actually been very good, so far they have aired four episodes. Episode one was very good, episode two was complete garbage, episode three was good, and episode four was tremendous and easily the best episode of the series. It was also the episode that should get Summer Glau...

    Paul Newman passes on

It's not a sad day because the man lived a long and fulfilling life, but it is a somber day. Legendary, and great, actor Paul Newman passed away today at the age of 83 from liver cancer. Not only was he in the greatest movie ever made, Road To Perdition, but he's more known for his philanthropic...

    What are you watching now?

There was a Stardust novel published in 1990, but that was a crime drama in the Spencer series by Robert P. Parker, that's the only other Stardust novel that I know of. Gaiman's fantasy Stardust was only published in illustrated novel form, as far as I know.

Stardust the novel was published as an illustrated novel. As far as I'm aware there was never an actual comic book published about Stardust, only the illustrated novel. Good catch there, don't know why I used comic book, when I should have used illustrated novel.

    What are you watching now?

I just finished what I consider not only my favorite fantasy film of all time, but possibly the best made fantasy film ever, Stardust. Truly a great movie, everything about it worked, if not for No Country For Old Men this would have been my MOTY for 2007. Either way here's my review where I go...

    Fringe (possible spoilers)

Another enjoyable episode, each episode is better than the previous one and that's a trend I like. The chemistry is there, the stories are there, this is now must see TV for me.

I've been on a bit of a good movie spree, Groundhog Day (1993) **** --A tremendous movie, it's funny, witty, has great acting and pacing and features a truly upbeat ending without being too sappy. Remember folks he's in love with her but she never once says she's in love with him. The...

    Iron Man

That's completely valid, Toshiba halted production on all their HD DVD's earlier this year/late last year and none of the studios are releasing HD DVD's anymore, they are all releasing their products on Blu-Ray.

    Iron Man

Yep, that's the player I am most likely going to pick up. I like keeping everything in house, and since my HDTV is going to be a Sony, the Blu-Ray player will be too. It upconverts regular DVDs, but it's not a DVR, there are DVD recorders, but a DVR is something completely different. It will...

    What are you watching now?

I'm kind of indifferent to the Coen Brothers actually. It's not that they're bad, but they never grab me to go and see their films. When I eventually do on DVD or on cable I love what I see, but I usually take my time getting around to see them. So far I've only seen No Country For Old Men and...

    What are you watching now?

No Country For Old Men (2007) --A tremendous character study mixed in with a lot of other elements. Little Miss Sunshine (2006) --Quirky, heartfelt movie that delivered in laughs and in real moments. How The West Was Won (1962) --I wanted to love this, but it was too disjointed and never...

    Fringe (possible spoilers)

I think that actually separates it completely from X-Files. In Fringe the "fringe sciences" are viewed as completely real and are accepted as viable solutions to the problems. In X-Files it was the exact opposite, the show was reality where one man believed in the fringe and everyone thought he...

    Fringe (possible spoilers)

I'm not using it to defend JJ, merely to counter the point that JJ shows are good in the beginning and then poor as time goes on. Lost is just as good now as it was when it started, whether or not that is up to JJ or not really doesn't matter, since it is a JJ show. So was Felicity for that...
