I guess it's supposed to be very well enunciated given that self-control is an important part of his character. About on par with Edmund Blackadder I think (incidentally Rowan Atkinson took elocution lessons because he had a stammer or something like that).
I heard that it was going to be closer to four hours and fifteen minutes, from comments supposedly coming from Peter Jackson at the Danish screening. I'm sure I found the link for the article off TheOneRing.net but I can't find it.
Edit:
Found the link...
I disagree with the with all that swaying motion business. Thought that the Drakh in Lines still looked crap with all that blurring.
OTOH, I thought that Shivkala looked quite demonic when he appeared in The Fall of Centauri Prime, which I liked.
Re: Sleepy Hollow - on Passing through Gethsemene
I'm not a lawyer, so you'll have to excuse my ignorance in these matters, but surely not all judicial systems are the same. And the definition is quite vague - I mean what exactly is meant by 'rendering to every man his due'? Surely what a man...
Re: \"To Dream...\" taken off bookshelves
I might not be so bad an idea to buy some of those copies that your bookstore is sending back - after all, if the book's not in distribution then it'd be worth more.
It'd probably make more sense if the Mouth of Sauron got added in (I'm guessing it got cut).
Another niggle in the movie is that you don't see how Sam picks up Sting and the phial.
I didn't read it at school. It's not like it's required reading, or something you'd study like Shakespeare is it?
Anyways, you can still read the book and have spoilers for the movie since the movie isn't exactly the book, and hearing what happens in the movie before you see it can change your...
Well maybe that's the point - maybe it's an open story and the start of another cycle, like the name Revolutions implies. Clearly in a while when the humans get back on their feet there's going to be another war resulting in another Matrix.
Thought it was a pretty cool movie, though the only minor point was that there wasn't a feeling of closure for the main characters (well, perhaps for Trinity). My bro reckons it's a film about the Matrix itself, and maybe it's called Revolutions for a reason (the Architect in the last scene...
I haven't looked at the RealPlayer clip, but I'm guessing it's Captain Power. Babylon 5 was the name of one of the few remaining human colonies.
It's not really part of the B5 universe.
They are:
FIFA World rankings (25th June 2003)
1 Brazil
2 France
3 Spain
4 Argentina
5 Netherlands
6 Germany
7 Turkey
8 England
9 United States
10 Czech Republic
All because most of the country couldn't give a rats arse about it doesn't mean they don't have a decent football team.
Despite my version of the film being in Cantonese I actually found it really funny. My dad found it funnier since he can speak Cantonese. Apparently it was supposed to be a serious film.
