    Melissa Gilbert on DWTS

Correct, Sindatur; Jenkins is dancing in this upcoming season. She's paired with professional Mark Ballas, who's known for youthful, energetic, and occationally controversial choreography; I still love the waltz he and Chelsea Kane did a couple seasons back to Hedwig's Theme from Harry Potter.

    Melissa Gilbert on DWTS

I'm a fan of DWTS, so I'm fairly excited about this season. Looking at the star-professional dancer pairing list on Wikipedia, Gilbert will be dancing with Maksim Chmerkovskiy. He's one of the more successful pros on the show. Of the 13 seasons of DWTS thus far, though Maks has never won the...

If I wasn't already a vegetarian, this much spam would make me one.

I had to log out to see what you described. When I'm logged in, I still see all of the deleted posts. So for me, logged in, the posts you alerted me to are lost in amongst the thousands of deleted ones. I'm in the process of going through the couple hundred pages of deleted posts to hunt down...

If I wasn't already a vegetarian, this much spam would make me one.

It seems as if the spambots have been blasted, so I'm de-stickying this thread. I deleted thousands of spam posts, but if I missed any that you can see, please let me know.

If I wasn't already a vegetarian, this much spam would make me one.

From the best I've been able to find, I can delete threads to a maximum of 200 at a time but don't have any banning abilities being just a moderator (that's for the administrators), unless I've missed something somewhere. Edit: Well, I think I've got all of the posts deleted now.

If I wasn't already a vegetarian, this much spam would make me one.

That's how many pages you can see; the literal thousands of posts I've deleted aren't visible to you. Just for fun, I went and hunted down the current page (that I can see) that the first post from these spam bots is on; it's page 280. So that makes it well over 5000 spam posts that these bots...

If I wasn't already a vegetarian, this much spam would make me one.

I just wanted to let any actual living beings who're trying to visit this forum know that I am totally aware of the spam infestation currently underway. A larger fix beyond my capabilities needs to be implemented to stop it, but I'm doing what I can to try to delete as many threads as I can...

This'll encourage more Kirk/Spock slash fanfics.

The new Mr. Spock, Zachary Quinto, has come out as a gay man. First I get a happy learning Sean Maher has come out, and now Quinto too. Oh, I'm having so many naughty thoughts right now, logically. :vulcan:

    Failed Babylon 5 Projects

I was shocked about the idea of a reboot when I first read it, but by now, the idea's kind of grown on me. As long as jms was in total control of it, I'd like to see what he'd do. We'd always have the original, and seeing how he'd do things differently now by being able to compare the two...

    Doctor Who Series 6

I don't remember a shot of him on the bridge, but on the pathway looking out of the eye, which was established as a totally different location than the bridge in "Let's Kill Hitler". But that aside, I too for some reason had the impression that the Doctor was the only one in the Teselecta at...

    Doctor Who Series 6

The Doctor and the TARDIS were in the Teselecta there at the lakeside, so even if the pyre was somehow able/allowed to destroy the Teselecta, he could have gotten the crew out and taken them to their timezone. But I imagine that the Teselecta was allowed to just lay amid the fire until Amy...

    Doctor Who Series 6

The fixed moment in time still stands. The Doctor didn't change anything, he fulfilled it. It's like Delenn says of them all going back in time to steal Babylon 4: "We've already done it; all we have to do now is make sure that we do it then." The fixed moment was never the Doctor's death; it...

    Doctor Who Series 6

The Doctor's name is important in that we viewers are nosy and the show has existed for how many years with his name being unsaid. Ultimately, I doubt we viewers will actually ever hear his name because not knowing makes it more awesome than any name ever could be.

    Doctor Who Series 6

So, we've now had the finale. I totally need to watch it again because it's one of those that feels like I've bound to missed something and definitely don't see all the layers in one viewing. We now know it wasn't the Doctor killed in the first episode of the season but instead the...

    Sorry Kaylee, Simon likes guys.

This makes me happy. :D Sean Maher, who played Simon Tam on Firefly, has come out as a gay dude.

    Doctor Who Series 6

It might have just been something about how I was feeling when I watched it, but "The God Complex" didn't have the emotional resonnance for me that it was intended to have. The idea of disabusing Amy of her faith in the Doctor is good, but it only felt like it happened superficially to me. I...

Tonight's episode, "The Girl Who Waited", was much, much better than last week's episode. It feels a bit weird to realize we've only got 3 episodes left to the season.
