I gave this a C. Not terribly convincing Sheridan and Delenn would fall for this given their run-in's with the press and beaurocracy before. I mean, as the viewer I saw through this straight away on the first viewing. Not a great deal of fun to watch again and again.

I found Lochley to be a bit wooden - worthy of being in Star Trek. Could be the acting as much as the character. (I also notice she had a lot of shouty scenes, but couldn't shout convincingly - like she hadn't done a lot of shouting but should've - and came across weaker than the script). But...

G'Kar is clearly JMS' philosophical voice as such comes out with loads. I tried using his definition of what god is to his Narn followers (and analysis) on some fundies. But I do love that explanation. Not too surprisingly, it didn't work!

Of course, but it's too easy to forget all about Grail... the typical kind of episode that allows many to lose patience with B5 before it's had a chance to shine. Should be deleted and replaced with a starscape and harmonious chords.

This doesn't seem to get a mention, but I think it should. Some of the music is superb and very apt. The music almost all the way through The Long Twilight Struggle really stands out for me, especially the battle sequences. As does Severed Dreams. Anyone ever notice the music for the Open Air...
