Well the reason discussions of racism came up was because they seemed to feel that Sheridan and Sinclair were far too hard on G'Kar in season 1 and 2. That they should have tried to understand that the Narns were the victims of Centauri occupation and therefore they should be forgiven for their...

The comment section is very strange. Quite a few people on there seemed to agree with the premise that you can't be racist to a white person and took exception with JMS having the view that you definitely could. But yes, I tend to read the comments from the people new to the show first.

Just wait. He's commented on how tragic Coming of Shadows was. If that episode messed him up, due to the play order he's using, Confessions and Lamentations is next! And that is probably the saddest episode of B5.

EpDis: There All The Honor Lies

What's strange is that Lavell is described as being Warrior Caste and yet is also of the Third Fane of Chudomo. Which makes me wonder, Delenn tells Neroon in Legacies that being religious caste by mother takes precidence over having a father who is warrior caste.Could it be that warrior...

Yeah, I've watched the video. He truly bought it that Talia had betrayed the underground railroad and killed them all. Talia seems to be one of his favourite characters so yeah, Divided Loyalties is going to be very interesting.

He doesn't appear to have noticed that whenever AlchemyPotato or Rukbat 5 commissioned an episode it's going to fuck him up. Because they went through and quickly picked all the best episodes! "I feel this whole show changed!" - Well done, you got the point of a wham episode.

Just watched Coming of Shadows. Mark was saying that he feels more disappointed by the tragedy in that episode than any other TV show he's ever seen. I wonder if we're just putting him through this because misery loves company. :p

Oh, I know he wasn't on station at the time, but they did contact the underground railroad when they were looking for telepaths to fight the Shadows. So it's not like they don't know how to get hold of them if they need them. And as a possible P13 he could probably keep even Byron in check.

It does lead to disaster. When he overrules Lockley and allows Byron to live on the station. That's a direct cause of the Telepath War. If he wanted telepaths, he should have contacted the leader of the underground railroad from A Race Through Dark Places.

That was one of the videos I bought for exactly that reason (and the revelation of why the Minbari War ended). It was most amusing.

He was off by one epside for a lot of those. And he might even have been correct if it wasn't for the Sinclair / Sheridan swap.

I definitely saw that Ivanova and Talia were losing perspective and making their argument about them and not about Alisa. I didn't notice the parallels with the Shadow/Vorlon war because that happens much much later in the show. Even on a rewatch.

I just posted this on the review for Legacies. Wait! WHAT? You mean this whole story is the entire Shadow War in miniature with Ivanova playing the Shadows? WTF? HOW DID I NEVER SEE THAT BEFORE? I'll just say that it's insights like this which make me love watching the whole Mark Watches...

I always figured that treason and mutiny get you spaced because in a combat situation they might not be able to arrest and hold you for sentencing. So if they simply space you, that way they have still acted legally.

Okay, we're going to see that again. Any bets on when? Crysalis definitely will cause it but I doubt it will be the next episode to do it. Babylon Squared is a good contender.Especially cause of the reveal about Sinclair.

I was about to post the exact same two quotes. :D I'm impressed that he got the Vorlons so quickly. But I suspect that he'll forget it before Season 4 and start thinking of the Vorlons in the Good vs Evil terms that they wanted us to think of them in.
