    Mark Oshiro watches Babylon 5

As much as I love him reacting to these early episodes, I want to see him when we get to the first episode of Season 2 when he realises that these mysteries DO get explained. The show isn't unfair, they don't introduce mysteries and leave them unsolved.

Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)

Actually, a friend had a good description for the film "It's the Han Solo biopic film made in the Star Wars universe" So yeah, 50-60 years after the end of the Empire someone decided to make a film about this Han Solo guy using what knowledge he could find about his early life.

    Mark Oshiro watches Babylon 5

Part of the joy of this series is watching him say stuff like "Can we have an episode about the Psi Corps" and then seeing his reaction when he gets it!

    Mark Oshiro watches Babylon 5

Looks like he's finally got to the first of the really good episodes. Mark Watches Mind War And he seems to love Bester just like we all do.

    Mark Oshiro watches Babylon 5

Well it seems like we have a new fan of the show. If he's this excited after only the first two episodes then something like Crysalis is going to blow him away. I must say that I'm enjoying reading his reviews. It's nice to see the reactions of someone watching the show for the first time and...

Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)

I watched the film and I enjoyed it. The biggest problem is that I can't see any way the guy we see in this film becomes the guy we see in Episode 4. But if you pretend it's an alternative universe, it all works.

    EpDis: The Paragon Of Animals

Yeah, but if she cared about him, she wouldn't have. Plus it would have been interesting to see that dynamic in the show, how can a normal and a telepath have a relationship.

    The Original Battlestar Galactica

Yeah, The Plan does a fairly good job of trying to make it look like it was all planned out, but it obviously wasn't. Then again, B5 spoiled us in that regard, most TV isn't planned out anywhere beyond the end of the season (or first episode of the next one).

It Was the Dawn of the Third Age of B5-Watching...

Wow. You really live up to your name. No more Kosh after Into the Fire so screw watching the rest of the show! :p

EpDis: Movements Of Fire And Shadow

On the thread for the previous episode there was a question as to whether Londo honestly believed that his government wasn't behind the attacks or not. This episode is the one with the evidence I need to say why I think he believes that they didn't do it. Londo knows that something strange is...

EpDis: And All My Dreams, Torn Asunder

I don't think Londo actually believes the Centauri are responsible. The next episode reveals why I believe that to be the case so I won't speak about it here.

    EpDis: Darkness Ascending

You've also got to consider that assigning Lennier to the edge of Centauri space could have blown up in Sheridan's face. He's angry because Delenn took an action that could have caused him political problems without even bothering to run it by him.

    EpDis: GROPOS

The show was pretty progressive when it came to feminism in general. The relationship between Talia and Ivanova is about as far as they could go in those days. They even mention a female pope at one point. What's nice is that they show Dodger as liking casual sex and it doesn't have any...

    EpDis: Meditations On The Abyss

I tend to agree. Delenn is trying to show Lennier that she will always care for him and always be there for him. She knows how he feels for her, nothing is ever going to happen between them but she wants Lennier to know that she isn't going to change her feelings for him. He'll always be her...

    The Original Battlestar Galactica

The fourth season is definitely worth a watch. The problem with BSG is that unlike B5 it was clearly writen as it went along without a clear idea of a goal. Some TV shows can get away with that, writing a final episode that seems as if it was planned all along. Others like BSG can't. That's...

    EpDis: A Tragedy Of Telepaths

The first book of the telepath trilogy covers how and why psi-corps got started. I'd definitely recommend reading all three after you're done with the series.

    EpDis: Secrets Of The Soul

It's probably the fact that humans have committed genocides that got up Franklin's nose in the first place. While the genocide might have been 800 years ago the current generation were willing to kill in order to cover it up. That puts them at the same level as Holocaust deniers at the very...

    EpDis: Learning Curve

Lochley's point is that she wouldn't have followed illegal orders but she also wouldn't fire on EA ships. Sheridan fought a war against his own home planet. Now while the captains of those ships might have been war criminals, it's pretty unlikely that everyone on every ship was one of Clarke's...

EpDis: In The Kingdom Of The Blind

We've seen male Centauri teeps. Remember one of them removed the block on Brother Edward in Gethsemene and we saw another check Vir in And the Rock Cried Out... But your point stands that they don't seem to be that empowered.

    EpDis: The Paragon Of Animals

I always thought it pretty sad that Zack missed his chance with her. He did actually care about her as a person, not just for her abilities.
