I've started watching Foundation. Just one episode in, and while I was unsure about it for the first 20 minutes when it all felt pretty derivative, it grew on me and by the end when the star bridge came crashing down, I was hooked. For context, I've read Asimov's books.

Maybe as a sequel, with JMS' blessing, there might be an opportunity for another creator. But a remake under someone else would be unconscionable to me. I haven't seen Andor, but I didn't like Rogue One.

There's a line in And Now For a Word that describes Hidoshi as "former senator". I agree with Looney, as good an actress as Carolyn Seymour is, it might have resonated more in Endgame if it had been Hidoshi rather than some random senator.
