For reference I am using ~14seconds in on S01E05 The Parliament of Dreams - I do this because there is a lot of detail in both foreground and background.
Where I live I cannot stream this at all, happy to purchase the blurays, but only if the quality is worth it.
What I can find so far:
* old AMZN. super grainy, but background quality is superior in some ways 4:3
* super compressed HMax. no grain, but 720 and so technically more detail in the amazon one, though imo the HBO looks better.

I'd love to see some shots of the Bluray or full quality HBMax - or even current AMZN to see if it's the same as the old one.
