Does a JMS detailed Biography existed?

I do educational programs in Yosemite National Park in the United States.

In one of my programs I use a JMS quote as a crux piece for the program. One day I had a guy who said he went to school with a guy named JMS, who also was a writer.

Is there a biography out there, where I can check this info?

(Incidentally, the school was San Diego State)

I actually didn't go to any of the major film/sports schools; not
UCLA or USC. I attended (in order) Kankakee Community College, Kankakee,
Illinois; Richland Junior College, Dallas, Texas; Southwestern Junior
College, Chula Vista, CA; and finally San Diego State University. Loved
all my writing and literature courses.
