Enid-Raye needs a favour...

Hey gang,
I'm in a bit of a pickle. I have an episode of "Breaking News" airing on Bravo in the U.S. (but not in Canada) and I'd really love to get a copy of it. Would any of my little buddies south of the border be able to tape it for me and send it my way?

The episode of Breaking News is titled "The Broadcast From Hell" and airs twice on Bravo -
August 28 at 8pm Eastern/5pm Pacific
and again at 11pm Eastern/8pm Pacific.

If it turns out well, I'd like to add it to my reel, so I would need it taped on a fresh tape on a clear channel.

If anyone could help me out, I would reimburse them for the cost of the tape and shipping. And I would also throw in a few homemade buttertarts as well!

I could do it for you if you like. /forums/images/icons/smile.gif It is kinda a ways off but I can put a reminder on my calendar at work tomorrow. Our VCR is only being used to tape Jeremiah on Friday nights so it won't be a problem. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
 
I'd do it, but my cable company's analog cable system doesn't have it, if i upgraded to digital, i could do it, but i'm probably not upgrading to digital till next year, if i do.

And besides, the tarts would probably get stolen by the time they got down to me /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

She's probably going to end up receiving twenty tapes of the same thing, and not wanting to hurt anyone's feelings she'll watch each copy, and make all kinds of those tart things to send to everyone, and by that point she'll probably start to go insane and never want to ask anyone here for a favor again. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif
 
Okay, you guys are the best. I'm already going through my cookbooks and checking my budget for lard! (that's fancy baker's talk...)

I will drop by in the next few days with some specifics. Maybe a couple of you could tape it for me and i'll start sifting the flour...

Again, thank you guys. I really appreciate this. (Oh and here's some inside poop: I had an audition for the new "twilight zone" series today. It looks great. I loved that show growing up and I can't wait to see how this one turns out.)

p.s. for those of you who check out my site, please be patient as we are tweaking some bugs to clean things up. Its still running, but it'll look nice and crisp in a week or so.

But, I still can't wait to see the new Twilight Zone.

I will not send you a tape, Enid-Raye, because I don't know how I would be able to keep up my diet, lose weight, and eat buttertarts at the same time...
