Why is it that the forum jumps down a page or so when I click on a long topic ?

The site "remembers" (cookies, you know) where you last viewed a thread. It will jump you to the point of your last reading.

Could you explain in a little more detail what you meant? From your post, I'd have thought the same thing Markas did. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I think it is a cookie thing. It works fine in threads I have been to before, going down to the newest post. But every now and then, it does it to a new thread I hadn't visited. Just jumps down to a random point.
