I've added a link at at the top, next to calendar (for registered users). It's just a copy of what's under 'my home', and was actually in the navigation on a previous version.

It will, as it says, mark all posts read.

Can I just say that clicking that new "Mark All Read" link seems to have finally solved my "Perpetually New Posts" problem.
