Technomages and shadow tech

I wasn't sure if this was a B5 topic, or a Crusade topic. It might have a spoiler in it, too, I guess.

I missed something somewhere. I pick up from posts that shadow technology is the fundamental basis for a technomage's powers. Did I miss a really really interesting moment of a B5 or Crusade episode? Or is this info. gleamed from the books? Or "inside info"?

I think what you are referring to comes from one of the unproduced crusade scripts. Could be wrong, though, haven't had time to read them yet.

Yep, it's in the two unproduced scripts.

Also, the tech is explained in quite a lot of detail in "Casting Shadows," the first book of the technomage trilogy. If you haven't read it, I highly urge you to. Although we don't see its origins in the first novel, we do get a good look at how it works.

Yes, script in question was "End of the Line"...read it at the now-defunct bookface.com. It and "Ends of the Earth", as well as an unproduced Fiona Avery script featuring *my hero*, were posted there.

There were also some hints to this effect in "Casting Shadows", although I think this will be further explored in "Summoning Light", due in July. Can't wait!!!
