The Shadow Within

If anyone has read the book The Shadow Within and can offer me any advice on the content and possible questions for the author, could they please PM me. Thanks.

Are you trying to set up an interview with Jeanne Cavelos?

I've just read the book last week, so it's pretty fresh on my mind. Keep us informed on whether you need more questions or not, or what kind of questions you want. I don't want to replicate any work. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Mike G, just a mini-interview for now, about the book relaunch.

CBO, no one has come forward with any questions, so your help would be appreciated.

1. Did Anna tell her husband Sheridan that Psi Corps/Mr Bester had put an assassin (Donne) on her? Perhaps on the trip to Z'Ha'Dum.

2. Did we ever find out which planet the telepathic mice originally came from? They sound like nice pets for teeps.

3. In "The Shadow Within" and the Techno-Mage books you have female Psi Cop characters, do you identify with the Psi Cops in some way?

I must re-read it. I don't remember much from it from when I read it last Summer. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif This so sucks.

Ditto, I'd have to re-read it to remember any questions I might have had. Since I go back to work in two days, I doubt I'll have the time to do it.

IF we were talking about "To Dream.." then, jokingly, I might ask 'why didn't Sinclair use his influence as Valen to make the Minbari sleep on horizontal beds rather than slanted ones'? /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif Ivanova surely would have appreciated this. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

I know, I know, that part isn't covered in the book. /forums/images/icons/tongue.gif So, as I said, it's silly. /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

I have read it twice and I really think you have to read it to understand how and why Anna Sheridan got taken by the
Shadows. Some people didn't like it but I thought it was well written and it filled in all the missing pieces.

If I had one question for the author it would be why he couldn't have let us have at least one scene in the book with
Sheridan and Anna together. It would have made their relationship much clearer, at least if it was well done.

I'd have to re-read it too, but I'm in the middle of the Techno-mage trillogy at the moment, and I don't want to put that down /forums/images/icons/grin.gif

Ok, here's a good question: Why is this book the most popular Babylon 5 book? (not trilogy)

Because it is the best non-trilogy book (IMO)
To dream.. is good too..but kind of numb. Not really boring but somehow, it seems like nothing really happens in the book.
