What is the better order to watch Day Of The Dead?

Just wanted to know this because I haven't seen the 5th season yet. On the DVD, the episode comes between Secrets Of The Soul and Kingdom Of The Blind, but the television order seems to have it listed after Phoenix Rising. Anyone have a preference?

Television order is after "Secrets of the Soul" and before "Kingdom of The Blind". That is where i saw it.

It was meant to air after "Phoenix Rising" but i still would see it after "Secrets of the Soul".

I would watch it after "Pheonix Rising". Where it was on TV made no sense as the wrong people were on the station.

This is the order the Lurker's Guide has it for the TV schedule.

03/08/08 89 502 No Compromises
03/08/11 90 503 The Very Long Night of Londo Mollari
03/08/12 91 504 The Paragon of Animals
03/08/13 92 505 A View from the Gallery
03/08/14 93 506 Learning Curve
03/08/15 94 507 Strange Relations
03/08/18 95 508 Secrets of the Soul
03/08/19 97 509 In the Kingdom of the Blind
03/08/20 98 510 A Tragedy of Telepaths
03/08/21 99 512 Phoenix Rising
03/08/22 96 511 Day of the Dead

Would that then be the more logical sequence?

The only difference is that Londo and G'kar are on the station for Day of the Dead, when they are on Centauri prime for the episode before and after. It dosn't mix up anything story wise.

Re: What is the better order to watch Day Of The D

I seem to recall that JMS posted a reason why the ep was moved back when S5 was on the air.

Unfortunately, for some reason I can't connect to JMSNews to go have a look at the moment - anyone remember what the reason was?

*EDIT*

OK, it has let me in now. Here is JMS's message about the move:

We suggested moving up DotD because the NBA playoffs will hit after #12, and better to have 3-4 intense episodes in a row, culminating in 12, than to break up the middle, which would've been okay as a respite if there wasn't going to be a break, but since there is a break now, I want to slam the last few before it hits for more impact.

It had something to do with re-runs or delays due to sports I believe. They re-arranged the order in order to get the desired "Impact" episodes on the desired dates.
