Torchwood is being developed for Fox by BBC worldwide, which gives me hope. I hope Barrowman plays a decent role. Keeping the five nights in a row format for Chlidren of Earth would be neat as well.

Its a really cool theory, and ties neat a neat sci-fi idea (DNA bonded links) into a major plot element. I'm sure if you mentioned it to JMS and he said its not that case, he will wish it had been.

Mass effect is the bomb. Got the sequel on preorder for the end of this month. There are many B5 elements in it.

As you said, least he is honest about it. And fair enough, although I found it all a bit cheesy. The mystery woman thing should keep a large portion of the Internet going for a while, more easy writing !

Thats as maybe, but the whole turret thing was an obvious Star Wars homage / rip-off. The whole setup of the scene, the way the guns looked, the corridor between them. RTD was just putting his spin on it by putting Bernard Cribbins in there. The Doctor refered to Dalton as Rassilon by name.

My assumption with Rassilon was that he was resurrected and re-elected as they needed a firm war leader, possibly after the previous chancellor (Romana?) was whacked by Daleks. He then started creating a load of monsters with silly names that Tennant rattled off. All of this was hinted at...

Just seen it all. The better half was the latter half, but still far far too much going on. The final scenes were rather fun. I'll pop back with some more thoughts later on.

Not very impressed, mostly for reasons explained here by other folk. Weak writing from RTD, with plot development far too reliant on exposition via narrative from the Ood, news reports and Daltons' character. The whole Master re-birth think was frankly dire and wasted, especially the whole...

I saw it and loved it. In 3D, which was really really cool. It was the first new-school 3D movie I've seen, it had the same wow factor as Jurassic Park did back in the day. Yes the premise is very stupid, (its acutally sicentists tacked onto the military who are inhabiting the bodies) but so...

All this is truth. Its also keeping on the bandwagon when it comes to World of Warcraft. Bioware do amazing games.

Finally saw the Changeling. It was very very good. Great to see a few JMSisms in there, and otherwise genuinely unsettling throughout.

HBO's Rome offered a similar level of plotting and intrigue, and enough characters to follow. I have a lot of faith in this.
