that's true time constraints were an issue.

i agree i was referring to the civil war, i only mentioned the shadow war so others wouldn't. although you have to remember that the white stars were based on vorlon technlogy.

    Criticisms

i just would have liked to have seen them suffer a major defeat and seen how they would have recovered, it's the one area where (god, i almost can't say it) DS9 was better, you saw the bad times as well as the good, as it were.

I was thinking the other day and wondering what flaws the show really has, and the only one i can think of is that when they fought the shadow war they never really won any victories, in major engagements all they ever managed were draws, they won the war by outmanoeuvring the shadows...

    Terminator: The S. Connor Chronicles

just watched the first episode, i was actually very impressed. i thought the visual effects were absolutely top notch (for television anyway), there were maybe a few clichéd moments, but not particularly bad ones.

    EpDis: Chrysalis

obviously i missed that (from one of the books right? the only B5 literature i have read so far is a copy of space, time and the incurable romantic.).

    Terminator: The S. Connor Chronicles

the fourth one about the early days of the resistance might be cool though

    EpDis: Chrysalis

someone may have to explain this to me (i haven't read the books so may not be privvy to some vital bit of information) when sinclair is watching clark get sworn in, kosh "glides" up behind him and says "so it begins" suggesting he knows exactly what sort of man clark is and the trouble he will...

Journeyman - Update and Interesting "Industry" interview.

dude i watch it too, it's on over here at the moment, but i download it so i'm digging monday nights episode. i seriously hope it gets picked up for next year, it's certainly the best new show of the year, admittedly there wasn't exactly a lot of competition for the title though.

    Favourite B5 Character........and Why?

Seriously? it was great man. totally dig marcus, love his progression, he started out looking for something to die for, then found something to live for, finally realising sometimes they go hand in hand.

you forgot sybok, okay i know star trek 5 licked arsehole but still... dude come on. not really spock was somewhere around 150 when he died he really wasn't that old, due to his being a half blood vulcan, and considering tuvok is around that age in voyager we can see the difference in...

Trek XI Set for Xmas 2008 release

damn i was trying to come up with something suitably pithy but you beat me to it. however she is pretty hot, so there's one reason to see it.

    alf garnett

i do remember after the first leg of the 99 playoff for euro 2000 the guy who runs the post office down the road from my uncle back home in inverness was stabbed to death. his crime? being an englishman and england winning 2-0, fucking paul scholes.

it's funny i go to a little rural pub every year for the calcutta cup, and although i am always the only jock in the boozer, everybody is really nice, even last year when we won and me and my best mate went on a celebratory bender. and although rugger does tend to foster a fraternal spirit i do...

i have no idea but i remember last time we played your mob, i was in the pub and the english started booing the flower of scotland, so i booed god save the queen, i can tell you i had to get out of there pretty fucking sharpish.
  20. Ranger1

the views in the show weren't connected to anyone on the show, that was the whole point. it was one big joke that amounted to "how stupid must you be to actually believe this shit."
