I agree that it is a pity it probably won't be renewed, the show threw up some interesting ideas in the second season especially this idea of John Henry perhaps being a "good" skynet.

a massive part of alias' problem was the contents of the file at the end of season 3, it was supposed to be utterly earthshattering stuff, but the network insisted that it be dropped due to overcomplicating issues. JJ has an excellent eye, and it's unfair to lay all the blame at his feet.

it may show on BBC worlds american service, but it isn't a BBC show. i'm watching Boston Legal at the moment, it rocks, also it's like Shatner doesn't even have to act, he's just just playing himself (a broken down old hasbeen for whom the penny has yet to drop).

having checked out the episodes shown so far i can say that it is very much like hearing the same story from two people, the general plot is the same but the details are vastly different, except in the first episode where the used the exact script (with a few exceptions due to time limitations)...
