    Enterprise: "Countdown"

Re: Enterprise: \"Countdown\" I use to read Star Trek books all of the time. Mainly the ones that focused on filling in the holes. Like Probe, which dealt with the events right after Star Trek IV I believe (forgive if it's not 100% correct, it has been years). One of my favorites is...

    Tamyln Tomita sighting

Ok now Im not sure if it will fit into this thread, but since Hyp brought up the point about B5 actors getting work, Im going to go and see Dodgeball. It looks freakin hilarious plus Garcy Cole has a small part in it.

    Article about summer flicks

Before every summer, I always wonder what the new and next action/adventure flick will be. Back in the day when Die Hard 3 was opening, it was boasting the largest on-screen explosion ever filmed. What an achievement. :p Dont get me wrong, I love the movie anyway but if it's one claim to...

    Tamyln Tomita sighting

Just in case anyone was wondering, I went to watch The Day After Tomorrow last night and who should I find in the movie? No other than B5's Laurel Takashima. It was a small role but nice to see her.

    Enterprise: "Countdown"

Re: Enterprise: \"Countdown\" I missed last weeks episode but for sake of closure I watched last nights. I was greatly disappointed. And Hyp I was groaning and saying "Come on!" at the same scene with Archer where he was shown to be a big part of the creation of the Federation. Since they...

    Alexander Trailer

This is a little off-topic I suppose but I'll throw it in. There is a group in Africa that sends their young boys to live with men. This particular society is secluded from women and homosexual practices do occur and are considered normal. Every boy must go through this before they become a...

Angel end ep [spoilers! no spoiler warnings = ban]

Re: Angel I have to disagree somewhat. Yes the last few years of Buffy (right after her second death) I just didnt really care about the show any more. It was getting old and tiring and feeling a little forced each week. Gone was the magic, the humor and the innocence of the first few seasons...

Angel end ep [spoilers! no spoiler warnings = ban]

Re: Angel I just caught the last episode this evening. Just finished watching it a few mintues ago and thought now I could finally read this thread. I really liked the episode. A much better finale then Buffy. Of course I want to know what happens now. I'm also a bit sad because next season...

    A few random movie recommendations...

Oh yeah baby I have finally arrived. A thread I origanted has been Linked! :D As for my own personal recommendations Bubba Ho Tep is the best movie I have seen in a long while. I'm getting the DVD the day it comes out. Now Im not sure if the falls under the classification of "movies" but...

    Van Helsing

Movies are soo subjective to the viewer. I once had a roommate that could not watch a movie if the title sequence had no visuals. If it was just music and credits, he would fast forward through it..even if there was dialogue. He just had to see what was going on. But anyway..I'm just saying...

    Friends- finally over

Arrested Development is a great show. They had a marathon of sorts on FX a few weeks back and I caught about 6 episodes. Very funny. I'm not completely sitcom free..I still watch a few. The Simpsons, King of the Hill (are those considered sitcoms?),That 70's Show. Now for drama's, thats a...

    Van Helsing

I'm the exact same way. Sure I do hate seeing the same movie shown over and over again with no real plot or characters. But sometimes I just go to the theater to escape the world around me and what better place to do that than with a movie that doesnt encourage you to think? I watched a movie...

    RIDDICK: Shiny New Trailer!

I watched Event Horizon in the theater too. A friend wanted to see it. What they should have done was named it Hell Raiser:Event Horizon. The entire movie reminded me of those movies. I kept expecting Pin Head to show up and say "We have such sights to show you."

    Van Helsing

If a movie is "iffy", I just wait about a month or so after its initial release. The mall near me plays second-run movies for $1.50. If it's the first showing of the day, it's a whole dollar. Many times I've paid with change.

    Question for Stargate fans

I thought it was a very powerful episode. They tried to mislead the viewer at times but I have to admit, I didnt see it coming. I try not to watch or pay too much attention to the previews for upcoming eps because there have been instances where the secret or whatever has already been given...

    Episodes 7-9? (cut & moved)

I found pretty much the same info. Of course the interview, or partial one that I found was dated way back in '98, but it quoted Lucas as saying that he would only do 6 parts instead of 9. He said the story would unfold with only 6 and he never really planned on doing 9.

    King Arthur

I think a lot of archeaologists believe Arthur was a real person. Maybe not so much as in the legend, but as they say, many legends have their beginnings in facts.

    Episodes 7-9? (cut & moved)

I havent been able to find any info on this either. I even checked out Harrison Ford's official site along with Mark Hamill's; and even tried some searches on Timothy Zahn. I came up with nothing. Please post some links because Im thinking this might be too good to be true. But please, prove...

Most TV I ever watched in one day...

I hear ya. I live in a small town with one video rental place; and good luck ever finding a new movie in on the weekends. I do the 3 movies at one time program and that works very well for me. In the long run it is much cheaper to pay Netflix then to rent all the individual movies themselves...
