A wimamp vis plugin and hyperspace

Well, I took a screengrab from a winamp plug in I use, and it occured to me that it would be a very 1337 way to represent hyperspace.

Well, I'm saying, maybe it could be like a new and improved jump point. Cuz the ones in Rangers looked kinda ghetto.

Both shots are very cool, I agree.

But even without using those two, I think just the look in general could be improved if they made the jumppoint effect procedurally generated. I mean, I know most people can't tell, but for computer graphics guys like me, it's kinda glaring when you can tell that the jumppoint effect is just two overlapping texture-mapped cones :~)

Besides, a procedurally-generated look would be more fitting with the whole chaotic nature of hyperspace, wouldn't you agree? /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

Yeah, that's why I thought this plugin was cool, it isn't fully chaotic, because it follows your music, but it's still a lot better than a static one.
