Blade TV series?

Seen some commercials for the new Blade TV show...I thought I would get everybodys take on the idea. You all know a hell of alot more than I do about this stuff.

I think as long as they keep it entertaining and some decent plotlines and don't take themselves too seriously it could be good.

The commercial I saw looked like the Blade Character had red eyes and was showing his fangs. I only saw the first Blade movie, but, don't remember any prominent fangs or red eyes

I think he showed the fangs in the second movie and the red eyes were in the first movie but the bad guy had em...

Didn't he sow his teeth in the first film when he bit that lass to get his strength

Blade did have fangs in all three movies... but they weren't as pronounced as the baddie-vampires' fangs.

As for red eyes, I'm betting that's just for the teaser commercial...

my god....that was a stupid/boring premire!

The Special FX are ok but the bad guys and supporting characters are a hell of alot more interesting then Blade himself!! they could have made a much better choce in picking a main character. Its sad when I was wanting to learn more about the vampires then the character the series is supposed to be about.

Plot is paper thin and disjointed. IMO except for one scene there were no clues or hints that piqued my interest and made me want to watch next weeks episode but aspects do show SOME promise if they get talented writers and develop the right things.

I give it 2 out of 5 stars.
