The unfilmed JMS scripts were Complete and ready to go.
There were also a couple finished scripts written by Fiona Avery.

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, arial">quote:</font><HR> JMS Speaks:
I still think the first five produced were our best of the ones we shot, in terms of the ones I wrote.
The best scripts of mine per se would probably be the two that didn't get produced but which were made available via bookface.com, To the Ends of the Earth and End of the Line.
I think they would've kicked over the table and shown where the production, and the story, was going.
They're also the ones I wrote after "Apperances," which is where I decided, "Fuck it, fuck TNT, fuck the notes, I'm just gonna go back to what I was doing for the first 5 and write what I want."
I got pissed, and sometimes I write best when I'm angry about something.

Weakest of my scripts ... probably The Long Road, which started out as a good idea, and is still about 70% a good idea, but it's over-written and it feels ... I dunno... stagey, somehow.

Basically, it starts to screw around with Matheson's tepathic abilities.

Why everyone keeps telling that Galen would have been 'Thrown away'? My opinion in whole this 'mess' is.... Galen would have been there in Crusade and on the Excalibur 'till the end. He was mysterious enough and I personally think that he would be essential character in Crusade. I liked him, the way he speaks.. It's funny but also true. And again, sorry for my bad english.. I'm from Finland

I'd ask JMS on rastb5m, but I know he won't answer that one.

GeoKuutio, the only thing we know for sure about JMS is that, whenever we think we've figured out where the story is heading, he's got Something Else sneaking up on us.

He only has One rule:

Any character can Die, at any time.

JMS has said that, at the beginning of each season, what he does is look over the current situation, the direction the story is headed and the characters involved and ask:
"If This person were to die, what whould happen?"
"What about That character??"

If the answer is that the story gets Better because some character dies, he/she is Toast.

Well.. Then I have to accept all of this. I just liked Galen, and he seemed so charismatic and full of ideas. That's why I thought that he would be 'til the end. But.. it's hard to say when Crusade was never completed

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Exactly. Galen might indeed be one of the survivors.
If only because he seems to actually be Looking for a good reason to die.
Or, he might go out in a Blaze of Glory.
After all, he Could be Irish.
(There's an old joke that goes: The Irish see the glory in Dying Bravely, therefor, they tend to Die Gloriously.)

With JMS, you never know.
He is a Vorlon, after all.
He did sort of tell us that most of what we do know about Crusade is just a Smokescreen to hide the REAL story until he's ready to smack us in the face with it.
