One other that springs to mind is the S5 episode during the Centauri/ISA conflict where they definitely cut a shot of a Centauri with his throat slit. Well it was on while everone was eating their Sunday roast.

As mentioned earlier I don't think the prblem was the cuts, it was the timeslots (although the two are probably related).
IIRC, S1 was shown at 1800 on Tuesday, S2 at 1800 on Monday, S3 at 1800 on Sunday (opposite Songs of Praise - now that was a wierd decision), S4 at around 2240 on Thursday right after that ridiculous space comedy quiz show with Greg Proops and Craig Charles (Space Cadets IIRC), and S5 at lunchtime on Sunday (except the final 5 which were around 0930 daily between Christmas and New Year).
Personally, I would much preferred to have seen it in Dark Skies' slot at 2200 on Monday, where it would not have had to be cut, and wouldn't have got in the way of C4's sports coverage (such as it is).
Part of me would really like to see B5LR (TVM and series (fingers crossed)) go somewhere else. However, given the BBC's record of showing the X-Files out of order, and banishing Space:above and beyond (remember that one?) to a midnight slot, I don't think we really have a viable alternative.
Sky might well pick it up for an initial satellite/cable run - after all it even hyped up the painful Mutant X.
