Actually the whole topic about Valen going back and forth occurred to me as well, since his body was never found.
Some people hypothesized that the Vorlons could have kept Valen in stasis. I think this is worthy of its own post....

I don't believe Valen was kept in statis. For what purpose? Sinclair/Valen had a circular destiny: from Sinclair to Valen, Valen to Sinclair, etc.
