Hyp, this week, they are showing a marathon of several eps, I think, so you may want to check forward a few weeks of the schedulebot.

The thing I find odd about this, is that Captain Jack was also from the future, and a sort of traveller/adventurer of his own. Im wondering how he can end up simply hanging out in one particular time and place, and doing something like that.

I make no pretence at having a clue what is really going on ... but the Captain Jack character, as established in his original 2-parter with the Doctor, has a two year period of his life that he cannot remember.

Could have something to do with that ... or not!
