Episode Viewing Order (Babylon 5 & Crusade)

So I'm new to the B5 universe, just picked up the DVD sets of Season 1 and the movies (with The Gathering).

I'm attempting to watch the episodes, read the comics and novels in as close to the intended chronological order as possible. Only one problem...I can't seem to find a definitive order the episodes should be watched in.

I've literally searched the internet up and down trying to find one, and I've found more than one...easily a dozen, in fact.

So, is there an "official" ordering of the episodes? JMS' take on the order they should be viewed perhaps?

I know the B5 magazine #22 listed an ordering and dates for those episodes, but I'm not sure how reliable that is since just about every other ordering I've seen online debates that version.

This also applies to Crusade, though there aren't as many variations as B5 orderings.

Any info or pointers on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

On the issue of season one, the lurker's guide master list is pretty good as stated in several threads around here:

As for intended order of that season though, I don't think JMS even remembers what it was supposed to be. It was fiddled with for various reasons. The order on the DVD is the air-date order, and the Canadian broadcast order here (for season one) is closer to what PTEN was supposed to do and is the order that thewb.com uses now:
