A game based on a ten-year old TV show made for a game system that is mainly marketed to people that either weren't born or in diapers when the show was airing?
Doubtful.

I think it got scrapped when sierra went through reorganization and cutbacks around 1999. At the time they had quite a few projects that got scrapped. In addition to the B5 game, a middle earth online game also got scrapped.
Middle-Earth Online is currently in development by Turbine Entertainment, it is being published by Vivendi. Turbine is the development team that made the games Asheron's Call and Asheron's Call 2 (online games)
