"In the Beginning" will hook them under the promise that by the time the show hits its stride every episode is that good.

Does anyone have any experience with anyone that was hooked just because of "In the Beginning"?

I had heard of Babylon 5, but I never really cared to check it out until In the Beginning. It was an amazing piece of writing...(unlike that drek that is The Gathering).
