Somehow, we've got to get Crusade off square one, and get...
Warner Bros. Domestic Television Production
4000 Warner Blvd.
Burbank, CA 91522
...to take renewed interest in the show.
Here is part of a letter I just wrote to them (mailing today).
For the last five weeks, two Warner Brothers shows, Crusade and Brimstone, have been the subject of quite a bit of debate at "Science Fiction Weekly," http://www.scifi.com/sfw/ (the online news magazine of SCI-FI.COM). Please check out the following links and letters:
06/02/2003 - http://www.scifi.com/sfw/issue319/letters.html
"McTrek Will Rot Your Mind"
See also: "Sturgeon's Law Doesn't Apply to B5"
"SF Is Losing Its Luster"
06/09/2003 - http://www.scifi.com/sfw/issue320/letters.html
"Brimstone Lacked Crusade's Wow"
06/16/2003 - http://www.scifi.com/sfw/issue321/letters.html
"History Repeats With Canceled Series"
"Brimstone Brings Back Fond Memories"
"Dark Does Not Always Equal Bad"
Attachment 2 is my submission which did not make it into the issue. I thought
they'd have edited out the second point, but apparently it was a disqualifier.
06/23/2003 - http://www.scifi.com/sfw/issue322/letters.html
"Brimstone Warranted Defense"
"Brimstone Challenged Belief"
06/30/2003 - http://www.scifi.com/sfw/issue323/letters.html
"Crusade Can't Compare With Brimstone"
"All Genre Viewers Are Losers" (losers not in the "sarcastic" sense)
Attachment 3 is my submission for 07/07/2003 issue of Sci-Fi Weekly- http://www.scifi.com/sfw/issue324/letters.html
It's unfortunate for me, but most of my favorite sci-fi series seem to be Warner Bros. Domestic Television productions, and The Sci-Fi Channel seems to be 100% dead-set against buying anything that is a Warner Bros. Domestic Television production. There has got to be some way to get Warner Brothers sci-fi shows back in production and on the air.
