Who doesn't expect pop up ads to be full of da cheez?
They're the cyber equivalent of a sign on the side of a bus in bigger metropolises
(metropolii?)... You're going for volume and name recognition. And at least these are targeted to a likelier than average audience. Those with some interest and exposure to SciFi already.
We may have higher standards for our ads
but most ads are not shooting for the high mark.
