Yes. They probably have little fans to generate enough airflow for them to float. Naturally, batteries and fuel cells of 2260 pack more power per weight than today.

The cameras must be pretty light, and even the Minbari know this. Otherwise they would not hit them with their head.

Funny thing about those floating cameras:

Some tech company has already Built a few.
They turned out to have one small Fatal Flaw.
If you put in enough batteries to keep them working for more than two or three minutes, they became too heavy for the engine to lift.
So, as of now, they are waiting for a better power source.
On the bright side, the reports I saw at teh time said they worked fine.
Until the batteries died.

There are probably drugs to help Marsies adjust to higher gravity quicly and others to prevent/alleviate bone problems. They also probably use centrifuges to maintain gravity-toning and build up muscle when going off-world, and EA ships likely have them onboard, also.
As for the cameras, possibly they are supported by magnetic levitation.
