Dylan -

You know, I was about to ask if this was part of the corpus of embarrassing works you had mentioned earlier...

...this is why I have a pen name for my poetry.

If it makes you feel any better, we don't actually get Relic Hunter around here.

Oh, come on... Relic Hunter is pretty inoffensive. It's not like you comitted First Wave or Nightman like some of your fellow cast members (you know who you are)...

Not to be offensive but I couldn't really get into Relic hunter, it's as if they took tomb raider then slapped it together with Xena. Except Relic Hunter takes itself more seriously.

I'll never forgive you for this Dylan *cries*. Sorry, just had to poke fun.

Or worse! Random acts of Chronicle! Now *that* would be unforgiveable. *grins*

Now now, I think you're doing The Chronicle a grave injustice by putting it below those two. From watching the pilot, I found it merely uninspired and tedious.

On the other hand, by tackling such daring plot lines as (young beautiful female) UFO abductee being turned into nymphomaniac with complete seriousness, not to mention the "extra nudity" for non-US markets, First Wave practically screams "We want to do porn!".

And Nightman... With your regular show this stupid, the low budget cheesiness activates the necessary defences... But this one... oh god... actually looked somewhat decent... ack... the pain... the sheer unfiltered massive stupidity... When I finally recovered, my brain cells threatened to commit collective suicide should I ever even think of watching it again. As such, if the second season ever airs somewhere near me, I'm holding a certain individual personally responsible for my demise.

Oh, oh! Uninspired tedium is enough to send me into tizzyfits! (And people wonder why I don't watch much television. In fact, when I tried to introduce a friend to the stellar writing of The West Wing, she just looked at me askance and said, "there are better things on." I asked her what. She said, "Felicity." Oh, Lord have mercy...)

Almost anything's forgiveable if you're in B5. The only thing that's not is if you have a guest role on Black Scorpion hanging about in your resume...

...ok, that's forgiveable, too, especially considering what I've done for money...

*walks over, picks the boys' minds out of the gutter*

Gosh, I'm gonna go ahead and post this before I get myself into trouble. And remind myself not to work this late ever again.

If it's got Myriam in it, it ain't bad. It must be good. Really good. Despite all the bad stuff.

Sheridan: Are you trying to cheer me up?
Ivanova: No sir, wouldn't dream of it.
Sheridan: Good, I hate being cheered up. It's depressing.
Ivanova: So in that case we're all going to die horrible, painful, lingering deaths.
Sheridan: Thank you, I feel so much better now.

I don't know Nightman, but I do know First Wave... and it ain't that bad. And as 1, 2, 3, 4... (think it's four) cast members have been in it, you can't knock it!

Poor Dylan, he really is his own worst critic!

You don't know what you're saying... Nightman was about a saxophone player who gets hit by "cosmic lightning" that gives him telepathy "tuned to the frequency of evilllllllll". Then he finds a prototype police armour (bulletproof with cloaking and flight capabilities) and decides fight crime. It's all down hill from there...

Glen A. Larceny at it's worst.

You see, since I can't bring myself to belive that any sane actor would willingly appear on that show, I'm assuming that it used casting as some obscure Canadian euphemism for press gang.

Oh my, that really is horrible.

You mean, he just FINDS this prototype police armour? Wouldn't the police want it back? Isn't that stealing? Isn't that a crime? Would he have to arrest himself?

I've never been a fan of some superheroes. When they're written badly, they become the final arbiter, the infallible force of good. And that, my friends, is impossible - no radioactive anything, gene splicing, or mutant acid that gives lightning powers can overcome the fact that the mind and spirit, and the conscience as well, remain human (and thus, flawed). Justice becomes vengeance in bad costume, an eye-for-an-eye philosophy, "which leaves the whole world blind."

Which is why I can't watch many superhero things.

God, that was a tangent. Do forgive me. (Must get more sleep.)

And Alex and Mackenzie.

I thought four people had been in First Wave. I was right. I just got confused for a minute whether I was imagining Warren being in there.

Oh, and Miss Sirois. Let me go on record that if you are ever in the Pittsburgh area I will most glady take you out for lunch. Huzzah!

Never start a fight, but ALWAYS finish it.

" The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate for the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise to the occasion. We can not escape history. We will be remembered, in spite of ourselves. The fiery trial through which we pass will light us down in honor or dishonor, to the last generation. We shall nobly save, or meanly lose our last best hope."

Yup, and she dies at the end of those two minutes... starting to see why I like her in Blade?
