Nick was a PA who worked on the series, and was well liked by everyone on the
show. He died in a car accident on the way to work while we were shooting TLU
part one. Everybody felt very strongly that he deserved notation here.

Just to mention that maybe you remember that one crew member posted here 3-4 months ago (nick was DrRingDing ). According to his/her forum profile he/she is/was also PA. I hope he/she didnt died. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

I know for a fact that Mr. Wilkes was not the person who went by the name of "DrRingDing" here on the forums.
Like Recoil said, the Doc moved on to another project mid-way through the season. Also, the Doc was based out of LA and not Vancouver. Finally, I know the Doc's real name so that really settles it. /forums/images/icons/wink.gif
It is a very sad thing to have happened and I am glad to finally know the story behind the dedication. I am sure it meant a lot to the people who make the show and his family. It is a wonderful way to be honored.
