Red Dwarf the Movie

God, I remember reading every red dwarf book they released, that must have been just about before high school. Damn, Im old.

I just lucked on to a copy of the book 'Red Dwarf', the essential 'how it all started' story. 298 pages, I think I read it in about two hours, and enjoyed every page. A lot of good stuff in there that they couldn't put in the series, like how Kryten and his former owners came to be stranded on that planet, details like that. A really good read, if you can find a copy.

Is that Grant Naylor's "Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers" ? There's a sequel, "Better Than Life" .

The odd thing is, though, is the movie any closer to actually becoming a reality? I keep hearing rumors, but I have heard there have been rumors for years now.

"Infinity welcomes"
"Backwards"
"Only Human" (I think)
and "better than life"
