I'd try the movie first before the episodes The gathering, is also abit slow you could start with in the beginning then the gathering it might be easier to watch knowing the war that came first.

Right, hook 'em with "In the Beginning" and then follow that with "The Gathering" and Seasons 1 thru 5 with the rest of the movies in their proper chronological spot. Hell, I started with "Shadow Dancing." No big deal.
