Well, the Armor on a Battleship is supposed to be about 16 inches thick.
It takes a BIG Hammer to dent it.
The Iowa class battleship hull is still regarded as one of the best the Navy ever built.
I'd love to see what one of them could do if someone dropped a Nuke power plant in and upgraded it to modern armament.
I'd keep at least one of the 16 inch turrets, though.
Just in case we were REALLY annoyed at someone and wanted to spend all day and all night dropping 2000 pound "valentines" on their heads.
For those who don't know, 2000 pounds is the weight of a single round from a Battleship's main guns.
They can hit a target over 30 miles away with pinpoint accuracy.
The WW2 16 inch guns actually have a better Accuracy record than most of our Modern "Smart" weapons.
