Two Problems with VBulletin Upgrade.

Woo... Galeon 7 I love your wolf photo with the orthodox cross. My off line system link alias is Sniperwolf. That is a VERY COOL picture.

Thank you. I hope to animate it some day in the circle on the cross. BTW, it is a Celtic cross, not Orthodox.

Yeah I was originally thinking that but I opted for the latter. I'm 25% Irish and 7% Scottish so I did recognize the Celtic simularities but Orthodox crosses have very simular features and my wife she has atleast 10 of them.

In the perfect Peradventure I would actually know what that means  but I'll take a stab at it. Is that a referance to the photo icon? In the old days we simply chose from a select group of pictures or downloaded our own. Since I don't have a digital camera and there is no photos to pick from I'm left with nill. Which I think is just :p :p :p (Thubberbbbbsputter noises) Hah. :D

Yes, you have indeed taken the correct stab. ;) If you look above your post, that old guy is my avatar. Since the board upgrade there is no more standard avatar gallery. Also, there are two avatar choices: a profile avatar and a posting avatar. You do not need to choose both or even one.

You can download a photo, size it, and upload it if you want to. If you need help with that, post here and some kind person will help you, I'm sure. :D

Thank you for the information you write with a sense of wisedom and nobility, you truly chose your avatar wisely. I have tremendous repect for that perticular B-5 character. Carpi Deim (Seize the day.)

You are quite welcome. Hang around here long enough, and you will change your opinion of me. ;)

I ended up getting the Turhan avatar by a vote. People chose it for me. It either meant they thought I was wise, a fool, or old. :D

Thanks for adding to my list.

 If it was my list I would say wise, humble and funny. :D

Speaking of lists, I know this forums been altered numerous times but do you know what has happened to our old forum material from the early days of the site. It seems my post count only lists the current count, not factoring in the many posts from when the first B-5 series started or even my posts from a few years back. I was 'for the one' back then as well but under a different e-mail address. (If that data is lost, I understand, no big deal.) Just curious I just don't want to be looking like a newbie when I'm a seasoned stallion so to speak. Any whooo..... Cheers!!! It's good to be back.

Thanks for the kisses, Lyta. :D

FTO, you'll notice eventually that humble isn't always on my list. ;)

Some time ago, Antony did a mass emailing to members and purged inactive ones who didn't log in after a certain time. If you were inactive, you were probably deleted. I notice that your join date is January '07.

...and welcome back.

The fact that you say you are not humble furthers your humbleness, kind of ironic. :) Hah.

Wow... Ouch... So Antony purged inactive accounts? I was afraid of that. I'm sure he did his best to warn me.

He probably wasn't able to reach me for one of two reasons:
(1.) Because we have changed E-mail addreses so many times it's ridiculous. This was a effort to get the best web connector deal. Each time we changed our web connector we changed addresses.
***or the more then likely one.....
(2.) Because I had a nasty virus that crashed my computer a few years back. I got it from an online Casino add on the Star Wars forum that whipped out my whole computer;(of coarse now a days they have spam blocking that prevents this). It corrupted all our systems it was a nightmare. We completely bought a new computer. It was time for one any ways. Since we didn't have the money at the time I had to wait for a real long while to get a new computer. Perhaps during this period Antony was tryin to reach me. Any way, apparently when I had clicked the 'x' to deny going to the link, it feed me a nasty virus. I haven't been on many such forums since that point. This was my first venture back out on the deep end of the pool so to speak in a long while.

Also latter I kinda lost hope after LOTR never turned into a series. Thus the absence.... I will try to be more optimistic. :) TLT is a refreshing much needed addiction for starving fans like myself and maybe some day someone cool like UBI SOfT will tackle a video game where other attempts have failed. Possibly maybe even make use of the other game attempts recorded video footage. A topic recently readdressed in a thread. A full on major motion picture about the Babylon 4 Shadow war would RULE too. :D :D :D Well maybe some day....here's hoping.

P.S.- I intentionally added this edit to cause the green light so I can ask you what does it mean? I figured it meant that the moderators would be checking for rewrites in the event someone tried to claim they didn't say something that they did.
Thus causing decention. Is that the case? With me it's usually a typo, spelling or grammar error edit creating the green light. I did once add a line to better keep with the current topic, I didn't want someone to say we are on a new thread now. They move along very fast.

Any whoooo........................................................

Thanks as always for the info and the kind welcome. You are a good friend.

Do you mean this green light?

If yes, then this is just an icon showing whether the poster is currently online (in the forum) or not.

That does explain why your login didn't make it over here. Well, you can spam away with the Babbleon crowd and get back to your old post count. AND you'll be able to go through all of the new ranks. ;)
