Sounds like ususal IGN rubbish...
One last thing. Where in the world are AICN, Cinescape, and Scifi Wire in reporting all of this? They haven't said anything about either the recasting issue or any of the plot/character details that have come out since the original "Diane Baker" story. It's not as if they haven't been tipped off about it. Believe me, they have.
Lochley was played by television vet Tracey Scoggins and rumors are flying that her part may be involved in the re-casting as well.
While all of this seems exciting for the B5 fans, the people that helped bring the series to life seem to be the last ones to know anything about it. Actor Jerry Doyle, who played Security Chief Garibaldi for all five years of the original series, told IGNFF, "I wish them well," indicating that he has nothing to do with the project. Other actors have stated privately that they have heard less than nothing about the project when asked for comment.

Jan and CE, would an online petiton linked to directly from the keepb5alive site do any good? I know execs tend to ignore these things, and that letters usually do more good...
The other place to post is the offical B5 forums on the warner website, if they check anywhere it might well be there...
I wonder if there's any chance that the guy who runs keepb5alive.com could produce some link images to his site that people can put on their own webpages and forum signatures.
Every little helps...

Thanks for posting that here, foxmaster.
Just to keep everybody updated, I'm busy trying to contact anybody I can to see
if I can find the breakdown sheet that's out there. I did just have partial
corroboration from a formor actor. The recasting she seemed aware of was for
'spin-off' characters (Crusade) rather than the original cast (B5).
NO recasting is acceptable in my book. If the actor is at all available, that's
who should be negotiated with and cast.

So, in regards to the re-casting...I'm not so totally certain we are talking about a mass B5 cast re-casting, as rather 1 or two Crusade roles being re-cast, and the rest just being NEW CHARACTERS.
Ouch.I would like to be able to comment on this, but for the time being I am not
able to do so.
