Well, I've seen B5LR

Re: Well, I\'ve seen B5LR

I already knew the cast is ... charismatic. Still, can't wait for the review.

Re: Well, I\'ve seen B5LR

Thanks Antony F.

I respect the fact that you have courtesy for us B5LR cast members that have posted on your site...and feel that you have gotten to know us quite well...

But, in regards to posting a review of "To Live and Die in Starlight"...the friendship aspect *MUST* be set aside...like you said you will be doing!

It is understandable that a person would find it difficult to criticize a fellow friend...but in the end...the truth is far more positive than a lie...falsehood will eventually catch up to the person...and the result could be quite damaging...and devestating...

None the less, you have reasurred us or should I say, myself, that your review will be just that...a review...

Domo arigato gozai masu Antony-san!

I am looking forward to your review! It will be exciting...

Cheers! -Warren T. Takeuchi-

Re: Well, I\'ve seen B5LR

I can't wait to read your review, Antony.

I'm happy already, because you're saying a lot of the things I've been hearing from many other sources - it's not perfect, 'cause it's a pilot - but it's got what counts: a solid story, a charismatic cast with pretty solid performances, etc.

I'll be breathlessly awaiting January 19th, of course. So I can write my own review.

Re: Well, I\'ve seen B5LR

I am a rookie poster. This is my first. I must admit I have been lurking every sense the board was created. I felt compelled to write today, so I joined. I read Antony's 1st line and got a sick feeling in my stomach! Thank goodness it was only a joke. Every sense "Aint it Cool News" ripped the movie, I have been worried. I realize this is probably the last chance we as B5 fans have in getting a spin off series again. A lot is riding on the success of this pilot.
I hope all fans spread the word to all to watch and get the ratings as high as possible. I'm sure this has been said over and over, but I felt I needed to say it too.
Thanks for letting me.

Here's to hoping we get a series from this pilot - and Warren gets a job!

I would guess that Antony has some really influential *associates*. Let us just hope that they are not trying to knock over any galactic anthills.

Having no such associates, I am currently considering whether I should try to build my own surveillance satellite, to be launched by January 19 -- only this way would I see B5LR as soon as it airs.

As for reviews... I know how difficult reviewing something can be, especially when there are so many expectations involved. I'm looking forward to reading it.

And if you do, please try and let the satellite peek into a home with a really good huge widescreen TV.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to Antony's review as well (besides being green with envy, of course

). I'm glad to know that at least the overall impression was positive.

Why should it peek at a home, especially one with a lowly TV receiver? It should peek directly at another satellite -- one which is transfering "Rangers".

Oh yeah, right. Didn't think of that. Great idea.

Antony -

Thank heavens that you won't post spoilers in this review! I only know a bit about the story itself, and although I'm chomping at the bit to read it, I still want to be utterly and completely surprised on first-view. You're a doll!

Antony,

There may be some among us with weak hearts. You should be more careful with your "jokes" because the reader may have died before he reached the punch line.

As for the review, I'm sure you will give us your honest opinion. I have been worrying lately that we may all be expecting too much from this movie and may be disappointed. So if you throw a bit of cold water our way it may be good for us.

I will be very very interested in your reveiw as being on the otherside of the planet that doesn't have SCiFi channel and won't get to see B5LR for sometime, I can get some interesting point from the review....

Due to geographic constraints, I might not be able to see the movie when it comes out(or anytime soon for that matter) unless I can obtain it from a certain connection, no names mentioned
