What do people think of the Liandra?

The effect certainly is rather different - the net morphed the user and the new apearance seemed to be rather solid. This new thing seems to build the image around the user, and is presumably only a visual illusion.

Not sure if they have fixed the technology at all to make it less dangerous. I assume they have.

Spolier below concerning changling net and centauri tilagy

<table bgcolor=black><tr><td bgcolor=black><font size=1 color=white>Spoiler:</font></td></tr><tr><td><font size=2 color=black> Well we do now that in later years G'kar infiltrate's Centauri prime with a changling net acting as Sheridans Hand. It also enables G'kar to save Londo's life. G'kar wears the net allot during this time frame this is why I assume the technology on the nets have improved, even though G'kar goes to centauri prime with his net much later on. </font></td></tr></table>

The Changeling net did NOT "morph" the user. The dialog said it was a Hologram. A very High Power field. Which caused all sorts of health problems for the wearer.

And, it shows up on Scanners when anyone thinks to look...

The reason it could Seem solid is that it was overlaying the image of a humanoid on a humanoid. If you make someone's Hand appear a diferent color, it still picks stuff up or punches a face perfectly fine.

Now, if you make him look twice as large, people might notice that he occasionally walks through part of the furniture...

An improvement that cuts the Power Requirements down to a very small level would eliminate most of the Health problems. And might make it more difficult to scan for, depending on the field and the scanners.

Alright, where's everybody seeing these ghosts, in trailer_2? How many sesonds into it do they appear? In something Sci-Fi broadcast on 10/8? I taped but didn't watch 'em yet.

It was suspected that the "yawning Ranger" at second 46 was a ghost. He's kinda pale... and seems to be wearing the old verion of the Ranger uniform. It was mentioned elsewhere that Liandra is a haunted ship. Its previous crew was lost in strange circumstances.

Whoa! I originally thought that was Dylan, though heavily distorted by something.

I see what you mean.

Alternatives: the Ranger is using a changeling net, which is malfunctioning and thus distorting his image. We see someone using a changeling net later in the trailer.
