What other races from trek could be considered First Ones?

I really, really miss that show, that was probably one of the best cartoons ever created. Had a few good arcs (Avalon, i.e., among others). Too bad when they moved it to ABC for its second season it lost some of its edge.

When I first saw those words, I thought you were talking about the Amberites from Roger Zelazny's Amber Chronicles. Since you didn't, I will...

Both the Amberites and Chaosians from the Chronicles could be considered First Ones. Amberites live in the only "true reality", can affect probability, can walk through Shadows (other dimensions), can perform magic, can communicate and travel through artifacts called Trumps, and can screw up the entire universe by spilling their blood on the Primal Pattern.

The Chaosians can do almost the same things (on a weaker scale and not including the blood thing) and can also shape shift and reach through Shadows using Logress Tendrils.

Well, I'm not sure if they're a race but they do watch over the universe and everything (on DragonballZ)

As to Trelaine, well, I read in a book (not official I think) that he was actually a young Q, and Q was his uncle and was supposed to care for him (after that incident, because his parents were very mad at him)
Anyways, the book is called QSquared, and really ties together a lot of stuff in Star Trek, from TOS to TNG. Really cool, but the jumps get a bit confusing.
